Funeral Services for Bobbie Dean Reece will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Morning Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor H.B. Nash officiating. Grandson’s and nephew’s Antoine Rollinson, Tyrik Rollison, C.J. Cannon, Corey Miles, Daqualin Evan and Willie Johnson will be serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Barbara Dial, Ann Grant, Linda Kelly, Mary Jackson, Marilyn Abernathy, Della Cleveland, Barbara Gordon, Gay Johnson, Mary Harrison, Donald Hall and Francine Hall. Interment will follow the service at Sulphur Springs City Cemetery.

 Beloved sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and outstanding friend to so many. Bobbie Dean Kelly Reece passed away on April 25, 2024 in Tyler, Texas. Bobbie was born January 27, 1948 in Sulphur Springs, Texas to John and Norris “Susie” Kelly.

Bobbie excelled in academics, and athletics where she played basketball and graduated from Douglas High School. Bobbie was employed and retired from Flowserve after thirty plus years as a machinist. She was married to Bobbie Joe Reece and he preceded her in death in 2015.

Bobbie accepted Christ at an early age and as an adult she became a member of Morning Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, and she was also a member of the Seasoned Saint’s where she remained faithful until her death. In her leisure time Bobbie loved helping her friends and family members in any way she could, she was a valued confidant and treasured friend to so many people.

Bobbie leaves to cherish her memories, her sons; Darnell Kelly and Michael Kelly (Brenda) of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Antorio Kelly (LaRisa) of Desoto, Texas, her sister’s; Bertha Shaw, Ruth Johnson of Sulphur Springs, Texas and Toni Williams of Dallas, Texas; her brother Paul Harrison (Delores) of Dallas, Texas, her special nieces, LaNorris Daniels of Sulphur Springs, Texas and Shunta Shaw of Rowlett, Texas, her God daughters, Latonya Dugan (Damon) and Angela Hall-Johnson of Sulphur Springs, Texas, 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
